Our Mission

In Matthew 28:19, Jesus issues the great commission, “Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”

As we respond to that commission, the mission of Albany United Methodist Church is “Making a lasting difference in our lives, our church, our community and our world.”

We strive to succeed in our mission by following John Wesley’s Three Rules:  “Do no harm. Do good. Stay in love with God.”
